Buy-side Mandates

As part of his advisory services, Thomas Schinkel from time to time gets invited to undertake buy-side mandates for companies that wish to grow through acquisition. Such a mandate requires cultivating and working with prospective sellers even though sometimes these companies are not formally listed as for sale. With each assignment that he takes on he understands that his mandate is to meet the client’s objectives and to successfully facilitate a transaction. With that mandate in mind, he does everything possible to assist buyers through every phase of the process. Ultimately, the goal is and remains to create win/win outcomes where both sides at the closing table are pleased with the results. Frequently, these buy-side mandates have an important cross-border dimension as well.
